Lions Eye Bank Participates in Community Art Project

August 26, 2008
The Plains Art Museum hosted a Community Art Project: The Art of giving, featuring five Fargo area organizations who created sculptures that illustrated their mission.  The Fargo Lions Club created a large pair of glasses – decorated with real eyeglasses – to represent their eyeglass collection program that helps to restore sight.  The sculpture was submitted by the club on behalf of the Lions Eye Bank of North Dakota, which helps operate the eyeglass collection program.   The piece will remain on display at the museum until September 7.
